I see the trees so tall and proud – I feel the sacred air.

I smell the earth of ancient times – I sense the everywhere.

I touch the bark with aching hands to find my home and place.

I feel the warmness all around and know I’ve won the race.

For now I only need to be – No more run I in fear.

For now I’ve found the holy place – A world I can revere.

I taste the dew on leaves so green – I hear the whisp’ring wind.

My journey takes me deeper still to heal my soul within.
